Knowledge & AI strategy
Helping organizations understand how knowledge and AI can be structured, governed and activated.
Board & Advisory
Hans Van Heghe contributes to selected organizations as strategic advisor, board member, mentor or entrepreneurial sparring partner — connecting domains too often treated separately.
The connector role
Hans’s contribution lies in connecting domains across the modern enterprise:
Where Hans adds value
Helping organizations understand how knowledge and AI can be structured, governed and activated.
Helping teams move from opportunistic growth to structured growth architecture.
Helping founders and boards mature without losing entrepreneurial energy.
Helping organizations understand their place in technology, regulation, market and partnership systems.
Helping ambitious SMEs sharpen strategy, strengthen governance, accelerate growth and prepare for the next stage.
Implementing modern product management — product-value fit, jobs-to-be-done, productizing knowledge and services, adaptability and scalability.
Board & advisory experience
As founder, CEO and president of Knowliah, Hans spent 25 years building, leading and scaling a technology company across growth, crisis management, SaaS transformation, international customer development and post-merger integration.
That experience gives him a practical understanding of what boards and advisory boards must help leadership teams manage: strategic choices, growth pressure, governance maturity, financial realism, technology shifts, organizational resilience and long-term value creation.
Hans also served as president of the board at ie-net, where he helped integrate two competing engineering associations into one stronger professional platform — a role that required governance judgment, stakeholder alignment, diplomacy and the ability to turn fragmented interests into a shared institutional direction.
Strategic Mentoring
The focus is not motivation. The focus is clarity. Mentoring with Hans can support leaders in entrepreneurial positioning, strategic decision-making, growth and scale challenges, governance maturity, founder role evolution, board preparation, funding logic, resilience, crisis navigation and ecosystem thinking.
“The best advisor does not bring ready-made answers.
He helps leaders see the system more clearly, and explains the different options.”
Hans works best with people who are ambitious, reflective and serious about long-term value.
